Overview

The servant Figaro is full of an irrepressible joie de vivre, and set to marry his beloved Suzanna. He determinedly outwits the cast of villains' mountebanks and rivals who seek to bring about his downfall. Set in 18th century France, Figaro's survival is a signal to the world that the common man has rights and that the world must change if he is to be allowed to enjoy them.
